DAY ONE (Saturday):

Leave for London

 

 

 

 

DAY TWO (Sunday)

AM – Land at Gatwick Airport, travel to hotel and get settled
PM – Open top bus tour of London and go up The Shard (highest building in Western Europe)

DINNER – Off to the Pub

EVENINGBack home for an early night and long rest

 

DAY THREE (Monday)

AM – Westminster Abbey, Churchill’s Bunker, The Banqueting House & Big Ben
PM – Trafalgar Square, National Gallery & photos with the Horse Guard

DINNER – A 150 year old Pub

EVENING SHOW:  Big Classic Musical

DAY FOUR (Tuesday)

AM – Greenwich Park:  The Royal Observatory, The Maritime Museum, The Cutty Sark
PM – Cruise down the Thames and explore the Tower of London

DINNER:  Al fresco on the banks of the Thames

EVENING SHOW:  Thoughtful drama at the National Theatre

DAY FIVE (Wednesday)

AM – Backstage at the National Theatre, Tour Shakespeare’s Globe
PM – Cross the Tower Bridge and climb to the top of St. Paul’s Cathedral

DINNER:  Greek cuisine in the shadow of the Bard

EVENING SHOW:  Shakespeare where it all started

DAY SIX (Thursday)

AM – Train to Hampton Court: the seat of power for Henry VIII. Tour the castle & visit the garden maze
PM – Go backstage and underneath of London’s oldest theatre. Enjoy free time in Covent Garden

DINNER:  Turkish delights in at a fun and bit wild theatre themed eatery

EVENING SHOW:  Choose your own show night

DAY SEVEN (Friday)

AM – Take a canal cruise to Camden market and sit in the queens box at Royal Albert Hall
PM – Discover great art at the Courtland Gallery or get lost in history at the British Museum

DINNER:  Time for a Friday night pub visit

EVENING SHOW:  A modern up and coming musical

DAY EIGHT (Friday)

FREE DAY – Explore on your own & discover something new

DINNER:  A little fine dining for the final night

 

EVENING SHOW:  Away from the glitter where the shows have more guts

DAY EIGHT (SUNDAY)

Farewell London – we will see you again

Who can go on this trip?
Anyone 19+ person can go on the trip alone.  Anyone younger must travel with an adult.
Who else can go on the trip?
There are no restrictions on who may travel with us.  We do recommend that family members be at least 12 to fully enjoy the trip as there are late evenings at shows, and full days seeing sites.  You are free to break away from any of the scheduled events or excursions as you feel the need.

 

 

We also suggest you be reasonably active.  There is a fair amount of walking and the use of public transit on the trip.

What are the accommodations?
Our London accomodation is a converted Georgian mansion with private baths in the rooms and lots of room for everyone and shared kitchen, lounge, gardens and swimming pool.  It is lovely.
What's included in the cost?
All flights, airport transfers, ground transportation, theatre tickets, site entries and accommodation with make your own breakfast supplies provided.
What will we eat?
Make your own Breakfast Included.  Locations for lunch and dinner each day will be suggested, and lots of times we will pre-order as a group to make things move more smoothly.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Early-Bird Booking Deadline is January 31, 2019 HOWEVER
Registrations will be taken up until April 30th providing there is still room on the tour.
Payments are as follows:
INITIAL REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $200.00 to secure your place
1st Payment of $1500.00 by January 31, 2019
2nd Payment of $1500.00 by April 30th, 2019
Final payment of $600 + $195.00 GST by May 30th, 2018

TOTAL COST: $3800.00 Canadian + $190.00 GST

Upon receipt of deposit you will be sent an account statement and reminders for following payments.
PLEASE REMEMBER to book cancellation insurance within 72 hours of making your initial deposit.

CANCELLATION POLICY

NOTE: We encourage all travelers to purchase private cancellation insurance through BCAA or their own provider.
We will return any unspent funds to you minus a $250.00 handling fee if you choose to cancel.
If Centre Stage Tours cancels a trip then your money will be refunded.
Purchases which are refundable such as airline tickets will be returned to you minus any cancellation fees from the vendor.
Purchases which cannot be refunded such as theatre tickets will be counted as a loss and funds will not be returned.
